EIE Summer Institute for Adults
July 20 - August 3, 2008
Modeled on our successful NFTY-EIE High School in Israel Program, this is an intensive living, learning, study and travel experience for adults! This program is sponsored by the Union's Youth Division and Department of Lifelong Jewish Learning.
Highlights include:
- Joyful exploration of ancient and modern Israel
- Study and experience the history of Israel chronologically: Explore each period of history through lectures and discussions,text study and visits to the sites where history comes alive!
- Adult EIE – Summer Institute will be led by outstanding EIE faculty
- Evening activities will provide opportunities to deepen your connection to the people of Israel and members of the Progressive Movement
- Free time to visit family and friends, additional museums, shop or sample the great restaurants
- Stay on Kibbutz Tzuba, nestled in the Judean Hills, 20 minutes from Jerusalem
- Reside in the very comfortable Belmont Suites of Kibbutz Tzuba
- Celebrate Shabbat on the kibbutz and in a congregation of the Israel Movement for Progressive Judaism
- Designed for those with prior Israel experience and for those who will be experiencing Israel for the first time
