NFTY Mifgash (Encounter) is a fantastic way to return to Israel after having participated on one of NFTY’s other Israel programs. Specially designed for teens who would like to return to Israel, NFTY Mifgash provides opportunities to spend time traveling with Israelis, explore some of your favorite sites, and take a deeper look at the challenges that face Israel and the Jewish people.

Connecting with Israeli teens, you will see and experience a different side of Israel. Together, you will explore issues of Jewish identity, Israel-Diaspora relations and the conflict in the Middle East. By the end of the journey, you will have made new friends - with NFTYites and with Israelis - and will have found new avenues for exploration, learning, and understanding!

• Spend the entire trip with Israeli teens
• Revisit some of your favorite sites including Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, and the North
• Camp and hike in the south
• Learn about advocacy and activism
• Explore Tel Aviv
• Swim in the Mediterranean Sea, the Dead Sea, the Kinneret, and the Red Sea
• Celebrate Shabbat in Jerusalem
• Hike in the Golan Heights and learn more about the challenges of this region
• Participate in a meaningful Tikkun Olam project
