The Golden Age of Jewish life in Europe is often left to the side when learning about our story. It is one of the greatest chapters of Jewish history. To spend five days in Spain prior to arriving in Israel will provide an opportunity for our teenagers to learn about the Golden Age of Spain, and to experience the mark left by the great Jewish masters from that age: Rambam, Yehuda HaLevy, Ramban, and more.

Participants will experience first hand the great cultural and historical contributions of our people in places like the Alhambra and the Masquite Churches and Mosques, and will learn of the tragic expulsion of the Jewish community of Spain following the Inquisition. We will visit Toledo, Cordoba, Seville and other ancient cities as well as the modern beat of Madrid and Malaga on the southern coast of Spain.
